A Snapshot in Time

The life-long memories of Darley residents have been collected and reproduced in a fascinating new scrapbook which reminisces about life in the Dales. The Darley Local History Group, set up in CCCC in early 2008 by Age Concern North Yorkshire, has met regularly to bring together photographs and anecdotes and to provide an opportunity for older residents to look back on their younger years. A vast amount of information was gathered for the scrapbook, which is now available to view at CCCC.
